Color Club's -Status Update

It's always nice when I get a bottle of nail polish in my monthly Birch Box. My September box had a bottle of Status Update, by color club! Definitely LOVE the color for fall! :-)

How to Have Fun Fall Toes!

~Step by Step Directions for Dark Fall Toes with Big Toe Design~

My friend, Julia, so kindly allowed me to use her feeties for this post! Thanks, Jules! 

First, gather all your tools and polish! Here we have a dark purple, top coat, gems, and  metallic design tape.

Next, paint two coats of dark polish and let dry for 5 minutes.

 

Then, apply metallic tap across the surface of the big toe.

After tape, apply gems above or below metallic tape line.  To apply gems, use pointed cuticle stick to put a small drop of top coat on nail  then apply gem to drop of top coat. (Press firmly, but be careful not to slide or smudge color coat.)

Repeat on other big toe!

Wait 15 minutes then apply thick layer of topcoat!

Braiding, with a twist!

These are some of my favorite braid buns!

Double braid twisted into a low bun. 

French braid across the back looped back around.

Half french braid into low side bun.

Summer Seacrets!

Purple, Pink, and White... An End of Summer Delight!

 This is a how-to post for two toned ring finger with wispy designs! 

Urban Outfitters-White, Zoya-Caitlin, Color Club-Fuschia, and Sally Hansen- Top Coat

First, apply the base colors to nails, leaving ring finger  unpainted.

Using scotch tape, apply tape to expose side closest to the cuticle. You want to paint this side first because it is easier !

Paint over tape, don't worry about making a mess on the tape!

Let paint dry for 5 minutes before removing tape. You should have  an almost perfect straight edge. 

Apply second color to bottom half of your nail. Try to come as close as possible to the straight edge. 

Add hot pink line to hide color overlap!

Add wispies to each side!

Add hot pink wispies to the rest of the nails

Finished!!!
