How to Make Perfect Zig-Zags!

Here is a step by step post on how to make perfect two toned zig-zags!

What you will need: The two colors you selected, top coat, painters tape, and the pattern scissors.

Step One: Paint your nails with the base color you have chosen. Wait about 10 minutes for the base color to dry completely.

Step Two: Cut the painters tape with the scissors into thin double edged strips and place them on your nails. NOTE: you can do the same one on each nail or change the placement.

Step Three: Paint on top of the tape! Let the tape sit for about 10 minutes to dry completely.

Step Four: Remove the tape and apply top coat! (The most exciting part!!!)

Sponge Paint!

This is super easy and super fun! You can use as many colors as you want, but sometimes its better to limit it to 2 or 3.

Got this idea from Pinterest...I hated every minute of it!

OK- So we have all seen this before. It is posted all over the interwebs about how cool it looks and how EASY it is, right? Well, I dont know if it was just me, but not only was it not as easy as it looks, but it also took me about 45 minutes per hand. It also uses a lot of nail polish.  I only had one nail turn out the way it is supposed to look, but here it is!
